about me
Hello, I’m Seija, the creative mind behind Studio Alma. I’m a designer, illustrator, and art director from London, now living in Portugal. I have a background in commercial and graphic design for over 15 years and have had the pleasure to work for clients that have included Vogue, Glamour, GQ, Condenast Digital, The Bodyshop, Nokia, Getty Images and also various design agencies in London.
I’ve worked in London at fun creative marketing agencies, plus freelanced remotely and a few years back I made the move to Portugal and with creative freedom and the feeling of love for design, I followed my intuition and Studio Alma was born.
I’m obsessed with sunsets, summer music, vibrant colours, pretty fonts, sketching, photography vintage markets, road trips, traveling the world and making up new recipes in my kitchen. I'm very curious, love learning new things, a great listener, secret keeper and love having deep conversations.
